Zhang Xinbin

Master Zhang was born in Beijing in the year 1954. In his late teens, he became a student of Master Zhang Guizeng and started his training in Baiyuan (White Gibbon) Tongbei. Baiyuan Tongbei is an extremely vicious, aggressive martial art, relying on fast movements, brutal techniques and crisp power. In addition to Master Zhang Guizeng's teachings, Master Zhang Xinbin also studied Chinese wrestling from Master Yang Guozhen, pushing hands from master Jiang Qimin and Yiquan from masters Li Jianyu and Yu Yongnian. In his never-ending quest to improve his Tongbei knowledge, Master Zhang started to research the style Five Elements Tongbei in early 2009. Since then, Master Zhang has incorporated the principles of Five Elements Tongbei into his own Baiyuan system.

Master Zhang is the co-founder of the Beijing International Martial Arts Camp, together with his good friend, the Late Master Mike Martello. Since Sifu Mike's passing, Master Zhang has been the Chief Instructor of the Zhenwu Martial Arts School in Belgium.

Throughout the years, Master Zhang has enthralled students and instructors with his depth and passion for the Chinese Martial Arts. He is known for his excellent methods of building martial power and also for his superb fighting skills. 

Jochen Wolfgramm

Jochen Wolfgramm

Born in Germany on May 1965, Jochen Wolfgramm studied Philosophy, German Literature and Classical Chinese, before becoming a Physiotherapist in 1998.

He began studying the Chinese Martial Arts in 1989. Since then he followed different Tanglangquan (Praying Mantis Style Kungfu) teachers till he finally met Mike Martello Sifu in 2005. Jochen is the chief instructor of martial arts school Bailung in Osnabruck, Germany.

His main goals are now to understand and teach the core and beauty of Chinese Martial Arts in Germany, concentrating on Tanglang and Taiji.

Steve Cottrell

Steve Cottrell began studying Kung-Fu in 1966. He has studied several styles of Chinese martial arts but reserves his teaching to Wing Chun, Praying Mantis and Taiji. He has competed and won competitions both in the U.S. and mainland China.

Steve Cottrell has dedicated his life to the study and propagation of traditional Chinese martial arts. He and his students have been featured in prestigious martial arts demonstrations both in the U.S. and abroad. Steve Cottrell teaches seminars around the U.S. and operates a school in Fort Worth, Texas with branch schools in Dallas, Texas and Melbourne, Florida.

Rene Ming Fai Ho

 Rene Ho

Rene Ming Fai Ho was born in the Netherlands in 1978. A son of Hongkong immigrants, he was fascinated by Chinese language and culture from an early age. After having earned his Bachelor degree in Oriental Languages & Communication at Zuyd University in Maastricht, he went on to study Sinology and Political Science at Leiden University. He also studied International Politics at Beijing University in China.

Rene Ho started his career as Counsellor for detention centers in the Netherlands, working predominantly with illegal immigrants from Asia and Africa. He later became the Educational Coordinator for the Institute of Chinese Studies in Beijing, and his activities include managing the Mandarin Language and Culture training programs and course contents. He also taught Chinese Cultural History at the Communication University of China.

Rene started training martial arts at the age of 12, having studied Hung Gar, Praying Mantis, Shaolin and Tongbei. His principle teachers are: the late Master Mike Martello, as well as Master Zhang Xinbin and Master Sun Ruxian. Since 2007, he has been the coordinator for the International Martial Arts Training Camps.
