1st International Martial Arts Training Camp, Beijing 2007

The first International Martial Arts Training Camp was held in Beijing, China, throughout the entire month of August. It was a great success with outstanding instructors and students attending from USA, Russia, Canada, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Norway, Belgium and others; in total, there were over 70 participants from around the world.
Special guests at this wonderful event were: Grandmaster Wang Chieh, of AMAR Taipei, Grandmaster Wang is an expert of Babu Tanglang, Taiji and Qinna, and has truly reached a level of internal mastery. Despite his old age he is still able to subdue young opponents by just a gentle touch. Grandmaster Wang brought a delegation of AMAR students to participate at the camp.
Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang, head of the Xinyi Hunyuan Taiji School of Beijing: The most senior Chen style exponent of Beijing and one of the most famous Taiji teachers in the world, Master Feng Zhiqiang is still going strong at the ripe age of 80.
2nd International Martial Arts Training Camp, Beijing 2008

The 2nd International Martial Arts Training Camp was held in Beijing in July 2008. Around 30 participants took part in this 2-week event. The 2008 Camp was notable for its two special guests:
Wang Wenyong: Grandmaster Wang Wenyong is a living legend in the World of Chinese Martial Arts, and one of the greatest exponents of Chinese wrestling of the last 100 years.
Grandmaster Wang and his assistant instructors shared their knowledge and insight of Chinese wrestling with our camp participants.
Mistico: Mistico is the most popular lucha libre wrestler in Mexico. In July 2008, Místico travelled to China and participated in the second Beijing International Martial Arts Training Camp, organized by Belgium-based martial arts instructor Mike Martello. Throughout the training camp, Místico received instruction in Chinese traditional wrestling (Shuaijiao) from Shuaijiao expert Master Yu Shaoyi (two times regional champion of Beijing) and joint-locking techniques (Qinna) from Master Mike Martello. The event was covered by the Mexican television network Televisa, and was broadcast in a series of 16 clips during the 2008 Olympic Games.
