All participants are expected to arrive and be present in Beijing on or before 18 July 2010.
On that day, we will have a welcoming dinner for the participants, where instructors and students will introduce themselves and get to know each other. A small martial arts gathering will be held as an opening ceremony for our camp the next day. Further information will be announced in due time.

Visa

A visa is needed to enter China. You should go to the Chinese embassy or consulate in your own country to apply for the required visa. A tourist visa (L VISA) is required for this trip. The duration of stay of an L VISA is 30 days, which means the holder of the visa may stay in China for up to 30 days from the date of entry.

Required Documents

To apply for Chinese visa, you will need the following documents:
(1) A valid original passport. There must be blank visa pages in the passport.
The passport should be valid for at least 6 months;
(2) One completed Chinese Visa Application Form signed by the applicant.
(3) One recent passport photograph affixed to the visa application form.
(4) A copy of Chinese hotel booking (to be sent to you by email after full payment);
(5) A copy of outward and return flight ticket booking;

Vaccinations

Vaccinations are not required for most parts of China. During our training camp, we will stay in the Beijing region only, which is very safe and clean for Chinese standards. However, the following vaccines may be recommended for your travel to China. Discuss your travel plans and personal health with your doctor to determine which vaccines you might need.
 Hepatitis A
 Hepatitis B
 Typhoid
 Tetanus-diphtheria, polio and/or measles
 Malaria, for those who wish to travel to the Southwestern areas of China (not part of Summer Camp program)
